INGREDIENTS:

6 spoonfuls chia seeds

1 glass milk

1 dash maple syrup

1 dash vanilla extract

chopped fruit (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

1) Mix the chia seeds and milk together in a container and put it in the fridge for a few hours or overnight. Check it every so often to give it a mix.

2) Once the seeds and milk form a pudding-like texture, stir in the vanilla and maple syrup. Top with the fruit if desired.

SUBSTITUTION IDEAS:

Milk —> Any milk alternative (coconut milk or a creamier alternative would work best)

Maple syrup —> Honey, sugar, agave

Optional - Stewed apples with cinnamon work great as a topping

Optional - If you hate the texture of chia seeds try blending them with the milk before letting it firm up.
