All About Eats

In 2020 I created Undefined Eats because I believed cooking wasn’t being recognized for the art that it is, especially amongst young adults. In our modern age of convenience it is all too easy to rely on microwave meals and pre-made food, but in doing so we lose the experience of making unique food for ourselves - a key part of who we are as humans.

I have always loved cooking, but hated following recipes and measuring out ingredients as it felt constricting and quite frankly took too much time. This made me think that other people might feel the same way. So I decided to create a space where people could come and learn to make food intuitively so that they would feel empowered to cook for themselves and experiment in the kitchen.

The recipes on this blog do not use any conventional measurements, but rather glasses, spoonfuls and dashes as well as supplementary ingredients. This ensures that you have the basis for a recipe, yet the freedom to make it your own; it is undefined and who knows, you might just have fun! After all, cooking for yourself and others not only gives you complete autonomy over your meals but it promotes creativity, positive psychology and fosters community; all of which we could use a bit more of.
